But he brought us out from there to bring us in and give us the land that he promised on oath to our forefathers (Deuteronomy 6:23)
Maybe you think God can’t use you. You’ve messed up too many times. You don’t have it together. You’re just, well, ordinary.
There are circumstances in each of our lives that God wants to bring us out of in order to bring us to the place He wants us to be. A place where he is glorified.
Because the truth is, “God has chosen you out of all the people on the face of the earth to be his people, his treasured possession.” (Deuteronomy 7:6)
If you trust Him, if you surrender, He will use your mistakes, your ordinary, for His glory.
You just have to be willing to take a step of faith.
Beth Moore says, so often we get stuck in the in between that we don’t make it to the place God wants us to be.
What’s keeping you stuck?
Fear. Regret. Doubt.
We’re not meant to wander through this life. We have a Promised Land. He wants to give it to us!
This year will you seek Him for your Promised Land? Will you push aside whatever is holding you back? Believe His promise.
“If you seek The Lord you will find Him; if you look for Him with all your heart and with all your soul. (Deuteronomy 4:29)
Do not give up on your Promised Land or the dream in your heart.
Do not get stuck wondering and wandering.
Write down the revelation and make it plain on tablets so that a herald may run with it. For the revelation awaits an appointed time; it speaks of the end and will not prove false. Though it may linger, wait for it; it will certainly come and will not delay. (Habakkuk 2:2-3)
