10 Things I Learned In July

July 31, 2015 by Jennifer

1.  I Really Can Do All Things Through Christ Who Gives Me Strength!  Five weeks ago we made the decision to finally get healthy. No quick fix; no short-term plan; but a life-style change. Working out has never been my favorite thing; but I've committed this change to the Lord and I'm seeing progress. I haven't completely given up my Dr Pepper; but I've cut back tremendously. I'm learning that I really can do the things I think I can't, through His strength working in me. To read more about Continue Reading

What I Read In July

July 29, 2015 by Jennifer

This month I got intentional about working out; so sitting around reading books took a back seat on the priority list! I had to get my steps in on my FitBit! Most of my reading was done a few minutes before bed each night and I was able to finish two books that were perfect summer reads! You might see a trend in my book selections. June 29, 2015 by Jennifer

You'll fumble with the plastic walls in order to fill it up, but it's worth the hassle. After a few weeks and many hours of splashing,  you'll discover a few cracks in the plastic and toss it in the trash. But memories were made and fun was had. It was the best $8 you could have spent! 2. Jackson's a Fish Jackson would do Continue Reading

What I Read in June

June 26, 2015 by Jennifer

1. On the Rocks By Erin Duffy I stumbled across this book at Target and was intrigued by the back matter. After Abby gets ditched by her fiancé while trying on wedding dresses, her best friend Grace devises a plan to help mend her broken heart. The two rent a cozy cottage at the beach for the summer and Abby decides to spend her time getting back into the dating game. She soon learns social media has taken dating to a whole new level. This book is the perfect summer read! 2. The Continue Reading
