ALL the FALL Feels {Friday Favorites}

September 16, 2022 by Jennifer

I am downright giddy about my first Michigan Fall. Let's be honest, I burned pumpkin spice candles in Oklahoma when it was 100 degrees outside. I love fall so much and I'm about to experience a legit one! It's September and I've already slipped on a cardigan to sit on my front porch, my house is decorated with pumpkins and my fall candles are burning 24/7. I've felt the cool, crisp air and the leaves are beginning to change. I thought it would be a great day to share some of my fall Continue Reading

What I’ll Be Reading the Remainder of 2022…

September 2, 2022 by Jennifer

I normally don’t plan out what I'm going to read each month. But I have so many books and it’s about to be my most favorite time of the year (Hello Fall!), that I felt like I needed a game plan. I don’t want to miss any of the books I’ve been looking forward to reading between now and December. Here's a rough outline of what I plan to read between now and the end of the year. I'll definitely be adding a few more to the list if I want to reach my 2022 reading goal.  Many of these are repeat Continue Reading

October Writing Challenge #10 – Well That Wasn’t On My Fall Bucket List

October 10, 2021 by Jennifer

Burning fall candles, photographing the changing leaves, nature hikes with my family. These are a few of the things I put on my fall bucket list. I did not put dodging tornadoes, but when you live in Oklahoma you just never know when you'll have to go into your scaredy hole! Thankfully Jackson vacuumed ours out today because it looks like the Oklahoma weather could get rough. When the meteorologists moved us from the moderate to high zone I decided I should probably pack a bag. Continue Reading

October Writing Challenge #9 – A Fall{ish} Saturday

October 9, 2021 by Jennifer

It's a Fall{ish} Saturday in Oklahoma. Last I heard, the Sooners are getting beat by Texas. Ugh! The temperature is way too hot for October. The wind is blowing like crazy, because, well, I live in Oklahoma and that's what the wind does 99% of the time. I went to Bath and Body Works this morning and stocked up on Fall candles and soaps. My favorite scent from last year (caramel apple) is burning as I type. Jackson and I just finished reading a cute Halloween book and Continue Reading

October Writing Challenge #2 – CONTENT

October 2, 2021 by Jennifer

Fall is my absolute favorite time of the year. I think the reason is because I feel so content. A good book, a fall candle burning and the crisp autumn air. When October rolls around peace fills my heart. Fall brings slower days, changing leaves, crockpot meals and family nature walks. I love capturing the changing season with my camera. This morning I was completely content in nature with my family and the camera on my phone.   Continue Reading
