Today is Apraxia Awareness Day. Normally, I would have rallied people to wear blue; however the day almost slipped by unnoticed. It's not because Apraxia is no longer a part of our story; it always will be. We've learned to live with Apraxia. Now we're trying to figure out what it looks like to thrive as a PDA (Pathological Demand Avoidance) Family. It's only fitting that we spent today at speech therapy. Three Things I’m Doing {Each Day} for Me!
We've been in Michigan for almost four months. It's taken every bit of that time to decompress after being nomads for six weeks. Jackson and I lived with my parents in Texas for three weeks, we met up with John and stayed in St. Louis for a week and then spent two weeks at a lake cottage outside of Detroit until our house was finished.
