Jennifer Reads {December 2021}

December 20, 2021 by Jennifer

I'm sharing my December reads a little earlier than usual since I'll be sharing a recap of my 2021 reads next week. I didn't read as many books as I thought I would this month - probably because I watched a few too many Hallmark Christmas movies and because I read two Christmas-themed books aloud to Jackson. I didn't have as much personal reading time as I normally do. This month my reading was full of holiday spirit! Nick and Noel's Christmas Playlist by Codi Hall Best friends Nick Continue Reading

Jennifer Reads {November 2021}

November 30, 2021 by Jennifer

I am reading all the holiday books right now and I love it! I still have a huge stack to read before Christmas! I didn't read as much as I thought I would this month because I was busy editing family photo sessions (while watching Hallmark Christmas movies!) If you're looking for a good holiday read in December, may I suggest one of these... Nantucket White Christmas by Pamela Kelley This is book 3 in the Nantucket Beach Plum Cove series. You can read my review of the first two books Continue Reading

Jennifer Reads: My Holiday Stack

October 19, 2021 by Jennifer

I'm a sucker for a good holiday Rom-com. There's nothing better than reading one in front of the fireplace while the lights on the Christmas tree twinkle. Yesterday I realized I have 13 holiday books to read between now and the end of the year. I might have gone a little overboard with my pre-orders. I decided to share my holiday book list with you in case you're looking for a light and fun read this holiday season. Before I share the list of books I need to read, I want to share the Continue Reading

Festive Reads for Your Holiday Season

December 6, 2019 by Jennifer

One thing I really love is a good Christmasy read during the month of December. There's nothing better than cuddling up by the fireplace with a good book; tree lights twinkling. I thought I'd share a few of the holiday books I've read this season and a few of my favorites from years past! I'll start with one of my all-time favorite book series, which happens to be set on Nantucket during Christmas. The Winter Street Series ( 4 books) is by my favorite author Elin Hilderbrand. I loved Continue Reading

Eleven Things I Learned In December {2017}

December 29, 2017 by Jennifer

I'm Not a Fan of Frozen Meals I've never been one to prepare a bunch of freezer meals to make dinner time easier. Why? Because they never taste good to me once I cook them. Recently we bought some frozen meals from a place in my hometown. It's a great place, with great food, but I could only eat the meatloaf. The two casseroles were disgusting! The texture about did me in. I was reminded once again why I don't do freezer meals. YUCK!!!! It's Okay If We Have to Leave the Party We attempted to Continue Reading
