I took a break from blogging about books in 2024; but I'm back. I love sharing what I read and writing about books is a form of self-care. Something I need to do a better job of as the mama/caregiver of an autistic son. I also love hearing what others are reading and adding new titles to my TBR. Jennifer Reads {November 2023}
This month I met my 2023 Reading Goal by finishing 75 books! I'll keep reading until the end of the year to see how many more books I can add to my yearly total. This month I started reading holiday books. I usually love holiday books, but this year I'm just struggling to read them. Maybe because they are all so similar? Kind of like Hallmark movies? Happy Halloween and Happy Book Review Day! It's currently snowing at my house. We'll be bundling up to do our trick-or-treating this evening. Brrrr.... September was filled with good things, but that meant I had very little time to read. I'm pretty sure this was my most unproductive reading month of 2023, but seeing people I love was worth putting down the books! I got to spend five glorious days with my bestie in Oklahoma. This month I swapped beach reads for a wider variety of genres. I needed a little change. I didn't quite make it through my summer TBR, but maybe I'll finish it in January when it's snowing and I'm wishing I was at the beach soaking up some sunshine!
