Joy’s Chocolate Chip Cookies
My friend Joy makes the best chocolate chip cookies I’ve ever had! She tried to teach me how to make them, and I even have her secret recipe, but mine never turn out as good as hers. Even John agrees. A highlight from my week was receiving cookie dough from Joy! Yum!
This Cute Sweatshirt
I stumbled across this sweatshirt on an Amazon ad and immediately clicked add to cart. It’s cute and cozy; the perfect addition to my homeschool mom wardrobe.
These Highlighters
Another Amazon find. John ordered some for work and gave one to me. I really like it until my Doodle chewed it up. I immediately ordered a new box (that I don’t have to share), but will most definitely not leave lying around for the dog to chew up!
Books, Bookstores and Book Lists
I have a major book buying problem. I have a shelf full of books waiting to be read and I’m determined to read them before I buy anymore. This week I started the book Simplicity Parenting and I am really, really enjoying it. I also took a trip to the local bookstore to grab a few graphic novels for Jackson.
I also love good book recommendations, like the ones my friend Kenna shares. I guess I can blame her for my recent book order! She recommends several books that I have read and loved and several that I have added to my growing pile of books I need to read. Check out some of her recommendations here.
