It’s that time of year! My Favorite Things Birthday Giveaway! Today I’m sharing 36 of my favorite things in honor of my 36th birthday (which is actually tomorrow!) For the past few years I’ve hosted an online Favorite Things Party and it’s always a ton of fun! Because what’s better than getting gifts when it’s not even your birthday??

One lucky reader will win a prize pack that will include a few of my favorite things!   5. Happy birthday, friend! Loved your list…we have lots of favorites in common! Some of my favorites are coffee, crochet and cross stitch, This Is Us, listening to podcasts (Risen Motherhood is my absolute favorite), my new Pioneer Woman cook book and crock pot, singing the Trolls soundtrack in the car with my kids, and sleep.

    • I love Podcasts, too! Not sure why I don’t listen to more of them. I love anything by the Pioneer Woman! I actually just ordered new bedding by her as a birthday gift to myself. HA!

Cuddles from my boys, their smiles, hearing Terran say more and more things clearly, watching This Is Us when everyone else has gone to bed, coffee while it’s still at least warm!, treating myself to sushi, a few minutes alone to unwind, connecting with others, seeing my patients have an aha moment, Seeing my bits get so excited when I come home from work (the two days I work), and my new obsession – lash boost

A snuggle-worthy blanket; a frigid, but clear, mountain morning; the sound of my girls laughing with one another; a sweet, hot cup of coffee; a book that allows me to escape – in laughter, love, another era, wherever; a happy ending…(in my best Julie Andrews voice) these are a few of my favorite things!

  8. I love Mickey Mouse, snuggling with my fur babies, 1.6 bold tipped ink pens, iced tea, playing the piano, and seeing children learn.

    3. Working (I love my job) lol
    4. Big 12 sports (especially OU)
    5. Tiny Beans posts of our grand baby and our family
    6. Face Book posts catching up with my friends
    7. Face Time chats with our children and grand children (should be #2 if we are putting in order of importance!)
    8. Spending time with my precious hubby
    9. Texts or whats app messages from my children (including pics)
    10. Visits to our home from our children
    11. A nice dinner out
    12. Home made chicken noodle soup
    13. Home made stew (more veggies the better)
    14. FT conversations with Lee (our grand son in Germany)
    15. Watching our grand babies grow and discover new things
    16. Pinterest (however, I rarely put my not so creative self, to the test of trying all the great ideas)

    18. Insurance premiums going down instead of UP 😉 lol
    19. Cozy home
    20. Cloudy days (I know I am weird)
    21. Cleaning and doing laundry (gives me a great sense of accomplishment)

      • Jim and I flew up to see them on Valentine’s Day and stayed a week! SO FUN but so sad when we had to come back to reality 🙁 I will always CHERISH the time I can spend with my children and grand babies though 🙂 I MISS them so much as well!!

  10. My favorite thing besides my kids and husband, of course, is the ocean!!! I LOVE the peace it brings me!! My favorite spot is the Bahamas! The beach is not crowded at all, so I feel like I’m at one with nature!

  14. We share so many favorite things!! Dr. Pepper with a straw while reading a great book while getting a pedicure!!🥤 I’ll add Clicklist, my minivan’s sliding doors, babies sleeping through the night and Sonic’s ice! 🥤 🥤 🥤

    • Dr Pepper with a straw! YES!!! I love Sonic ice but the drinks are never consistent. I broke up with Sonic a while back. The Dr Pepper just wasn’t good. 🙁
