We had 21 days to find a sponsor for a little girl in Africa….but it only took ONE! And in that ONE day we didn’t help just one, we made a difference in the lives of TWO children in Africa. Within a few hours of posting the challenge, I was told the little girl who shares a birthday with Jackson had been sponsored.
I have no idea who sponsored her and it really doesn’t matter. Maybe it was someone who read my blog or saw the post on my Facebook page. Maybe it wasn’t. What matters is her life will be better now! She has someone to advocate for her, someone to help provide her basic needs, and a new friend living across the world who is praying for her.
My friend Shelby had planned to sponsor Efua, but when she noticed she had already been sponsored, she decided to look at the other children who needed sponsors through Compassion International.
What happened next was a total God thing! I was SO blessed and encouraged by her story and I know you will be too. Here’s what she said….
