This was a good reading month, but what made it even better was seeing my bestie and talking about books at the beach!!!! Emily and I are book nerds and we're proud of it! We spent a week together in Florida, comparing our book journals and filling them out. I took her to the independent bookstore in Seaside and we hit up a Barnes and Noble. I didn't know how much I needed the sunshine, friend time and book talk! I left Florida filled up (but I'm ready to go back anytime!) Here's what I Continue Reading
March Favorites {2023}
March included a week in my Happy Place, so that is definitely my top favorite thing from this month. 30A has my heart! Someday, maybe I can stay forever. Until then, I will visit as often as I can! Before we went to Florida, we spent a week in Texas visiting my family, which leads me to my second favorite thing this month. All the Texas Food I ate so much of the stuff I cannot get in Michigan! February Favorites {2023}
Here's a round up of some of my favorite finds for February. I feel like the majority of them are for my face! HA! Maybe that's what happens when you turn 41! Jennifer Reads {February 2023}
I've been waiting a long time for February 2023; anticipating the release of Beth Moore's memoir. I pre-ordered the book months ago and immediately started listening when it popped up in my Audible app on February 21st. I'm usually not a fan of audio books, but I couldn't pass up the audio version of her memoir because she reads it and I love her Texas twang! I finished the book in less than 24 hours. Ya'll, I love Beth Moore. She's been instrumental in my walk with Jesus for many years. Continue Reading
January Reflections {2023}
I used to write a monthly blog about the things I learned each month. I decided to do something similar this year and call it Monthly Reflections. Just a chance to reflect on the month and all that it taught me. In January I learned that... It's Okay If My Quiet Time Is Not Quiet This month one of my goals was to wake up and spend time with Jesus before Jackson woke up. Um, it's winter in Michigan and my sleep schedule is so off. We seem to stay up super later and sleep in most Continue Reading
